A Navy Seal who died after throwing himself on a grenade in order to protect his fellow soldiers was awarded the Medal of Honor yesterday by President Bush.
I have an idea for Hollywood - instead of making your Iraq-message movies that keep bombing, why not make a movie about Michael Monsoor, a real hero.
Instead you choose to make movies about soldiers who don't want to go back to Iraq, soldiers "terrorizing" and raping Iraqi citizens and movies making America out to be the bad guy. And none of these movies have made a cent, no one wants to see them or listen to your liberal crap.
I would think a movie about a soldier who gave his life for others would be a bit more inspirational to Americans than a movie with pretty-boy actors pretending to be soldiers that hate America.

yeah, then maybe we can have a movie about how the government informed the family of a soldier and the public that a soldier died by enemy fire in a battle, only to learn at the end of the movie that the story was a fabrication by the government and what really happened was that the soldier was killed by friendly fire. no that can't be true, just liberal bias, right? are you saying there aren't soldiers who served and don't want to go back? i fail to see your point. if you don't like the movie offered then don't watch it.
My point is that Hollywood keeps cranking out anti-American, anti-war movies that NO ONE SEES! Maybe if they make a movie that shows a brave American soldier people would see it.
I don't see how the Tillman story relates to this story. Did I defend the government making up a story or something? I don't remember even hearing about this grenade episode. Maybe the government learned to just let news happen rather than hyping up stories.
Are there soldiers that served and don't want to go back? Ya, I don't think any soldier is chomping at the bit to go back to a war zone.
But Hollywood has now made two movies about the evil American military and both were flops. Maybe they need to move on.
Hollywood has already made plenty of movies about friendly fire: such as "Courage Under Fire".
And not to mention Denzel's anti-military filmography, "The Manchurian Candidate", "The Siege", "Courage Under Fire", and "Crimson Tide".
