Hollywood and Drugs

No surprise here, but word is starting to get out that Heath Ledger was a big-time partier and did cocaine. I guess it's not a big shock seeing how he died. Apparently the drug use led to the breakup with his girlfriend and mother of his child, Michelle Williams.

What surprises me is how widespread the drug use is in Hollywood. It sounds like everyone is using something and it doesn't matter who dies from it, they keep on using it. And you have shows like "Entourage" that idolize the drug use culture that persists in Hollywood. I don't think an episode goes by where they aren't smoking pot.

Let's see - River Phoenix, Chris Farley, Heath Ledger, etc. How many more deaths until they stop using? Doesn't matter, they all think they are immune to death. Just look at Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, they keep using and using and using.

Speaking of Lohan - swigging champagne and vodka. Yup, she's off the wagon again! Congrats Lindsay!
