Anoka
Threats - A supervisor at a business reported firing an employee, who then became upset and threatened to come back and urinate on the windows. The fired employee also called the supervisor names and said "I'm going to get you." Police called the suspect, who denied making any threats, but said the company won't hear from him anymore.
Coon Rapids
Assault - A caller reported that some boys rang his doorbell and when he opened the door, they hit him with a snowball. Police apprehended the boys and brought them to their houses.
Fridley
Property Damage - A woman reported that her boyfriend was trying to get her attention by throwing rocks at her apartment window. In doing so, he caused a pane of glass to break. He was cited for fourth-degree criminal damage to property.
Theft By Swindle - A elderly woman reported that a man came to her door and asked if she needed any chores done. She told him that her bathroom was cold and there was a bird's news on her roof that she'd like removed. The woman said the man did a poor job of putting plastic on the window and didn't get the bird's nest off the roof. For this, he charged $250. The woman tried to stop payment on her check, but it had already been cashed.
