Here's the weekly northern suburbs crime report courtesy of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Blaine

Property Damage - Somebody entered a house under construction, damaged the interior, drank beer and cooked pizzas in the oven.

Coon Rapids

Disorderly Conduct - A caller said a teen in an ostrich costume was running our into traffic and chasing vehicles. An officer arrived and found the boy with five friends. He told the officer he was doing it because it was funny. The officer spoke to the boy's father.

Unwanted Person - A resident reported that a drunken teen had come into his house and fallen asleep on the couch. When asked what she was doing, she said she lived there. Police cited the girl, a Ramsey resident, for underage drinking.

Fridley

Theft - Somebody stole five cast-iron manhole covers, total value $1,500, from a construction site.

Maplewood

Burglary - Somebody took six rubber duckies from a bathtub wall at an apartment.
