Here's a rant from a contributor we'll refer to as "Bip Roberts" and whether the Cubs or Brewers will win the NL Central and also a blast at the NY Mets.
"How the hell are the mets in 1st place.... that lineup is not intimidating at all. i'm surprised they even scored 2 runs. i wasn't surprised the brewers won that game. who the hell wants damon easley on their team... i hope i never see that dud in a cubs uni... how pathetic was the at bat where alou eventually stole 2nd, although he didn't need to b/c the pitcher couldn't even throw a strike. all easley had to do was stand there. instead he swung at ball 3 and 4 like a girl. ugh.
I predict the cubs will eventually overtake the brewers, and once that happens the brewers will fall out of contention, eventually finishing 3rd behind the cardinals. they've been lucky to win several games and just seem to be on the brink of falling apart... i think the race of staying ahead gives them a bit of an edge right now, but once the cubs break trhough bernie and all the fair weather fans will turn to the packers.... hate the brewers."
I agree with Bip!
