President Bush?

How about another President Bush? Well Jeb Bush is starting to climb up the ranks of possible candidates, and while most shake their head at the idea of another Bush, he's very appealing. I would love it if Jeb Bush ran for president, but I just don't know if he could do it in 2012. 4 years might not be enough time between W. and himself. But he's everything the party is looking for and he's still very popular in Florida.

I think at the least he'll be a VP candidate.

Well since 1928 there has not been a winning Republican presidential/vice-presidential ticket without a Bush or Nixon.

So much for variety.
What are you going to do after Jeb? Nixon have any kids? maybe one of the bush twins?

Agreed. That was my biggest gripe with W. He didn't deserve to be president. He never did anything in his entire life other than trade on his last name. I would think the president of the United States should have a better resume than that. But hey, he's religious. Never mind.

I find it funny when Democrats rip on Bush family members in politics, yet they have no problem with Hillary Clinton moving to NY to become a U.S. Senator with no experience other than being First Lady and have no problem with her running for U.S. President after one term as Senator (her second doesn't count seeing she started running for president the second she won).

Also, Kennedys ring a bell? Any of them win for any other reason than their name? Caroline Kennedy almost became a U.S. Senator and she has done less in her life than your most hated person George w. bush. At least Bush ran companies and was Governor. Can you tell me what any Kennedy has ever done that qualified them for office besides their name?

I also would hope a President would have a good resume, hence my hatred for Barack Obama. Being a lawyer and community organizer doesn't really cut it for me. Oh that's right, he can read a teleprompter really good and gol darn it, his family is good looking.

And even if a Bush is on a ticket, they still seem to win. So Americans must like something about them.

Does getting away with murder count? I personally don't want to see another Bush, just like I don't want to see Romney. They've been living politics all of their lives. I would like to see someone like Palin that got into politics to make a difference, not because it was 'the family business'.

No doubt. Clinton, Kennedy, same deal. It doesn't matter what party. But, your point that at least Bush "ran companies" is flawed. He ran them into the ground and got rich on an insider deal. These are the facts. The SEC admitted that he should've been prosecuted. Also, because Caroline Kennedy, Teddy, and Hillary have traded on their names doesn't lessen the fact that W did the same. Its too bad that's the way the world works. Nobody can argue that the world would be a better place if W never would have been president. Especially the 200,000 Iraqi citizens who are in the ground.

I believe it is very debatable as to whether the world would be better if W would have never been president. Those 200,000 Iraqi citizens may not be in the ground now, but what about the hundreds of thousands that Saddam put in the ground, and most likely would have continued to put in the ground? It may not have been the 200,000 that are now, assuming that to be an accurate number, but it may have been 300,000 others that are alive and free now that would have otherwise been in the ground. Remember there is cleaner water, more electricity, and more freedom in Iraq now, than when Saddam was in charge.
