Crime Time

Here is the latest northern suburbs crime report, courtesy of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Blaine

Disturbing the Peace - Police received a call about a male walking around howling and yelling. When police arrived, the suspect took off running but stopped after instructed to do so. The 23-year-old man had a portable breath test reading of 0.254 percent. He was driven home and his father said he would take care of him.

Coon Rapids

Littering - While on patrol, an officer observed a toilet in the driveway of a home.

Driving Under the Influence - Police were called to White Castle because a man was passed out in his truck in the drive-through. The officer found the man with his head down sleeping. He failed five sobriety tests, but passed the breath test with a 0.00 percent alcohol content reading. When asked if he was under the influence of any drugs, he said he had taken two over-the-counter sleep-aid pills. He was arrested.

Fridley

Prostitution - Police received an anonymous report of prostitution occurring at the LivINN Suites. Officers made contact with the people involved and determined prostitution was occurring. A man and woman were cited and arrested.
