Selling Fear

How come when President Bush supposedly used "fear" to sell the Patriotism Act and other terrorism measures he was ripped apart by the Democrats and media. But when Messiah uses "fear" to sell his spending package, no one says a word and they all nod their heads in agreement?

Honestly, I'm more afraid of another terrorist attack on this country than I am our economy falling apart further.

And enough with this talk about how the ecomomy hasn't been this bad since the Great Depression. It actually hasn't been this bad since the late '70s when liberal hero Jimmy Carter was president. Look up the facts!
