Mutual Respect and Partnership??

Liberals rejoiced last week when President Messiah had his first White House interview and it was with an Arab network. They loved how he kissed their butts and blamed America for all the problems that have occurred between the Arab world and the U.S. and promised to work on restoring the "respect and partnership" that the U.S. had with the Arab world "20 or 30 years ago."

There was a great letter in the Star Tribune today that outlined this "respect and partnership" from 20 or 30 years ago. Let's review:

Nov. 4, 1979 - Iranians storm the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and take 52 Americans hostage.

April 18, 1983 - Bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.

October 23, 1983 - Bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut.

December 12, 1983 - Bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait.

March 16, 1984 - Kidnapping of CIA Station Chief William Buckley.

September 9, 1984 - Bombing of the U.S. Embassy annex northeast of Beirut.

December 3, 1984 - Hijacking of Kuwait Airways Flight 221 that resulted in two U.S. officials being murdered.

June 14, 1985 - Hijacking of TWA Flight 847 that resulted in the murder of a U.S. sailor on board.

October 7, 1985 - Hijacking of the cruise ship Achille Lauro that resulted in the death of another innocent American.

December 12, 1985 - Bombing of the Rome and Vienna airports that resulted in 20 deaths.

April 5, 1986 - Bombing of LaBelle Discotheque, a popular club for off-duty U.S. servicemen in West Berlin that resulted in more than 200 wounded.

April 17, 1986 - Three Americans shot in Beirut.

December 21, 1988 - Bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 that resulted in 270 people murdered.

Looks a bit one-sided to me. Oh that's right, the U.S. encourages this behavior with how we show disrespect to the world. The big evil U.S., always causing problems!
