Gov. Blago Wins

Gov. Blago defied the State of Illinois by appointing a U.S. Senator and the U.S. Senate appears to be ready to accept Roland Burris to take the seat.

Amazing how a month ago Senate Democrats were saying they can't accept anyone that Blago recommends. Now that he appointed an African-American they were put into a corner and forced to accept the appointment rather than look like they were blocking him from entering the Senate.

And what does Illinois think about it? Or course they agree with it, it's a corrupt state!
