Political Polls

Here are the latest political polls on Congress and the presidential race:

At one point it looked like Democrats would run away with the congressional races. They have consistently held double-digit leads in the polls. Well now it's down to only a 3% lead for Democrats over Republicans.
Hmmm, maybe that 18% approval rating for Congress is finally starting to come into play?

In presidential polls McCain continues to lead and now it can be called official since we're a week past the convention.

AP poll has McCain up by 4%;
Gallup has McCain up 3%; and
Rasmussen has McCain up 3%.

What's funny is that when political analysts review polls with McCain leading, McCain is always "barely ahead" or it's "tied" or it's a "bump," etc. Yet when The Messiah leads in polls he always "leads," there is never any question about it or any "close race." He's just ahead!
