A new poll out today from USA Today shows McCain/Palin leading Obama/Biden 50% to 46%. That's a huge post-convention bounce for McCain.
Of course you have to wait a week or two for the polls to even out after the conventions, but this is great news for McCain!!
By the way, the Obama supporters were quite defensive on the talk circuit this weekend. It appears they aren't sure how to handle Palin and how to handle not getting the non-stop media glowing reviews for once. Are they scared?????????

My liberal, greenpeace-representative sister who was an ardent Hillary supporter is voting McCain. Because she was 'moved' by his acceptance speech. I know this is anecdotal but obviously there are more out there.
It's histerical to me how many times I've heard the "Sarah Palin is no Hillary Clinton, why wouln any Clinton supporter want to vote for Palin?" line. Like everyone that was supporting Hillary agreed with her on everything? Many people support Hillary because she's a woman, or because they felt the men were too hard on her, or because they knew what she would do in office. Many of these don't coincide well with Obama, and he has changed his stance on many issues from tax cuts to energy. Go McCain/Palin!
