Crime Time


Here's the weekly crime report from the northern suburbs, courtesy of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.


Coon Rapids


Disorderly Conduct - A report that juveniles were putting a rope across the road and interfering with traffic. An officer checked the area but was unable to locate the suspects.


Property Damage - While on routine patrol, an officer was flagged down by a man whose car had been egged while it was in a parking lot.


Fridley


Suspicious Activity - An officer was dispatched on a report that a plant was removed from the ground and left on a front porch with an obscene note.


Underage Consumption - Police officers were dispatched for a possible burglary in progress. The officers found that the resident's daughter gave one suspect a key. Several juveniles were cited for underage consumption.


St. Anthony


Theft - A 15-year old boy was arrested at Cub Foods for shoplifting merchandise valued at $1.01. The boy was released to the custody of his older brother with a citation for a misdemeanor theft.
