It's About Time!

Brett Favre has finally retired from football!!! Thank God, now we don't have to have the annual "will he or won't he retire" discussion and we won't have to hear NFL announcers drool over his every move on the football field.

I guess that last game of his showed he was done.

The fact that his last pass in the NFL was an INT is sweet justice!

I wouldn't count on him being fully retired though. Word is that he wanted to play another year but felt that the Packers didn't want him back that bad.

I've been saying for a couple years that he wanted to go play somewhere else but that he wouldn't do it unless the Packers came out looking like the bad guys.

Well now he has placed the blame on the organization and if he comes back for another team the fans would not blame him.

My prediction is that he'll end up in Miami with Bill Parcells. He'll want to play close to home and he'll want to play somewhere warm.

He has a contract with Green Bay, but they would be forced to release him from it otherwise face further backlash from the fans.
