Who was the most liberal U.S. Senator in 2007? None other than presidential candidate Barack Obama. The same guy who's preaching change, bi-partisinship and working across party lines. Um yeah, I'm sure that's going to happen.
Look, I could care less how liberal or how moderate or whatever he is. If people want to vote for him that's their choice. But what drives me nuts is how he's promoting himself as this person of change and how he's going to change Washington. How is someone who voted 95% of the time with his party going to change Washington? Hillary is more moderate than this guy and is much more likely to work across party lines!
He also missed 32 out of his 99 votes in Washington last year. Looks like he's doing a great job for the people of Illinois that voted for him.
