The Clock is Ticking

Are the Mets going to sign Johan Santana? They have till 4:00 CT today (Friday) to get a deal done, otherwise Johan is going back to the Twins.

Twins fans might actually be cheering for that since they aren't too excited about this trade (nor is most of baseball who thinks the Twins got hosed).

After a couple days thinking about it, I don't think the Twins got what they should have got for Johan. But it could turn out okay. They have a history of trading for prospects that end up pretty good and a big benefit is that Johan is now in the NL. This trade would be a lot harder to take if he went to Boston or the Yankees.
