Here's a reason I would never bring my kid to an NFL game - crowds of grown men sitting in the concourse chanting for girls to take their shirts off. Apparently this is a halftime tradition at New York Jets games, but now it's being stopped after the New York Times ran an article about it.
I've often said that NFL games are no place for kids. The amount of swearing and obnoxious behavior my grown men is amazing. It's like they check all respectability and maturity at the door and act like idiots for three hours because they are at a football game.
