How pathetic is Alex Rodriguez? After testing the free agent market he quickly realized that no team in baseball wanted him, nor did they want to pay his $350 million asking price. Presumably this had to do with him being an arrogant, clubhouse cancer who can't hit in the clutch.

Word is that A-Rod was stunned by the public reaction to his asking price and for announcing he was a free agent during the World Series, so he's going back to negotiate with the Yankees without his agent Scott Boras.

Sorry A-Rod, it doesn't matter. People hated you before and they'll continue to hate you, especially if you remain a Yankee. Maybe you could have been saved if you had found a new team, but being a Yankee does nothing for your public image.
