One week after losing OF Torii Hunter to the LA Angels because they were too cheap to offer him a contract earlier this year, the Twins have entered into trade talks with the NY Yankees for Johan Santana.
I have no problem with the Twins trading Santana, mainly because Barry Zito's contract last year put Johan way out of the reach of the Twins. Plus do you want to give a pitcher $130 million when there is a good chance he'll get hurt at some point?
But I do have a problem with the Yankees getting him. Why is it always the Yankees and Boston that get the players?? That's the problem with baseball, there are only 4 teams that can compete for the big players.
