Crime Time

Here's your weekly crime report, courtesy of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. This week they have moved to the Western suburbs.

Chanhassen

Animal Complaint - A sick beaver was spotted in a driveway.

Suspicious Activity - A caller suspected a person was rumaging through property outside of the caller's garage. It turned out to be a raccoon.

Suspicious Activity - Someone reported seeing an asteroid land somewhere in a field near the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Hamburg

Suspicious Activity - A caller was digging to install a basement window and found bones.

Hopkins

Road Rage - A woman made a gesture at another driver when the driver wouldn't let her change lanes. Then the other driver stopped the car and punched the woman's window. The woman left and reported the incident.

Minnetrista

Animal Complaint - A family reportedly moved out of their house and left their dog behind.

Suspicious Activity - Police stopped two vehicles. Two teenage drivers and 10 passengers were cited for violating curfew. More than 400 rolls of toilet paper were confiscated.

Property Damage - A resident reported that his vehicle was vandalized with manure, shaving cream, caulk and eggs.

Osseo

Trespassing - Three teenagers were heard running on the roof of Osseo High School and cited.

Plymouth

Assault - A woman at the drive-through window of a fast-food restaurant became disorderly and threw french fries at an employee. Apparently, the customer wanted free food, but the employee only gave her the food she paid for.
