Is Rick Ankiel being treated differently by the media than Barry Bonds over steroid issues because of race?

I don't think so. I think it's because there is more evidence against Bonds and because Bonds was breaking the most famous record in all of sports!!! It has nothing to do with race. Look at McGuire. Has he been treated differently? Accusations against him mainly came out after he retired and I think the media and fans have been just as hard on him as Bonds. No one accepts his home run record (well, record before Bonds broke it) as legit and no one wants him in the Hall of Fame.
