Here's the weekly northern suburbs crime report, courtesy of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Andover
Harassment - An employee of McDonald's reported that a man had called several times, swearing and harassing employees because his drive-through order was incorrect.
Anoka County
Burglary - Somebody broke into a pigeon coop and stole about 250 racing pigeons. The owner said a man had come to the house two days before and asked if the pigeons were for sale.
Blaine
Theft - A woman reported that her wallet was stolen at Rainbow Foods. She wasn't sure who took it, but she told police that a woman who asked her about fruit may have been involved.
Centerville
Property Damage, Theft - Six tires on two trailers were punctured and $200 worth of candy was stolen from one of the trailers.
Coon Rapids
Threats - An employee of TCF Bank reported that a customer trying to make a transaction got into an argument with a teller and, on the way out the door, remarked that "I'm coming back and shooting everyone in this branch." He later returned with flowers and an apology for the teller. The manager asked police to serve the man a trespass notice.
Theft - A man was arrested for taking two $20 bills, which had been left for payment of a tab, off a table at Grumpy's. He then used the money to buy drinks for friends. An officer, who observed that the man was very drunk, cited him for theft and placed him in the squad car to be taken to detox. While in the back, the man urinated and defecated.
Fridley
Theft - A computer, a wheelchair and a TV stand were stolen from a garage.
Assault - A man was arrested for biting two people.
Mounds View
Theft - A disc golf basket was stolen from the 9th hold at Silverview Park. A similar item has been discovered for sale on eBay from a Coon Rapids seller.
