Coon Rapids

Underage Drinking - Police cited a man for underage drinking after he was found sleeping in a ditch near University Avenue.

Assault - A woman reported that her boyfriend slapped her across the face, causing her lip to break open, because he was upset that she left a $4 tip for a waitress at Grumpy's. The woman said that it was not the first time her boyfriend had hit her but that she hadn't reported it before. The boyfriend also is accused of assaulting a witness.

Theft - A man was arrested for stealing three DVD players, a backpack and a 12 pack of toilet paper from Target.
