The bias that ESPN shows toward the New York Yankees never fails to amaze me. But last night reached another level.
Alex Rodriguez's agent mentioned that A-Rod will be the first $30 million dollar a year player when he signs his next contract. "Baseball Tonight" then discussed if it was worth it for a team to sign him for that much. They then went on to discuss what the Yankees should get in the offseason for $30 million.
The 4 panelists basically sat there and played GM for the Yankees and said who they should get. As if all these players they mentioned - Zambrano, Hunter, etc. - are only going to sign with the Yankees.
Are they going to break down what every other team in baseball could get for $30 million or are we only worried about what the poor old Yankees can sign.
