Not Smart People

You may not want to look at this picture if you're squemish - it's an American idiot getting gored by a bull in Spain.
Does anyone feel sorry for these people that get injured at the running of the bulls? This is one thing I don't. First, I don't get why people do it. Second, I don't get why they subject the bulls to this. I'm not some PETA person by any means, but what's the point of releasing bulls to run down the street and then have them killed in the middle of the bull ring?
What's the difference between bull fighting and dog fighting?
