Roidball

Bud Selig might suspend Yankees star/roid user Jason Giambi for 50 games if he doesn't agree to speak to George Mitchell about the steroid investigation.

I hate to defend a bum like Giambi, but why is he being suspended? Because he spoke up about the steroid problem in baseball? So because he spoke up he's being suspended for 50 games.

Basically what baseball is saying to the players is to shut up and not say a word about roids - keep it a secret like baseball has done for years! This makes no sense at all. In a way Giambi should be given props for coming forward and admitting what so many other players won't - that he used roids - and for calling about players and baseball alike for not doing anything about it.
