As if that doesn't influence how they cover the news???

But yet there are Democrats that want to enact a "fairness doctrine" which would run conservative radio hosts off the air unless they give "equal time" to liberals on their shows.

Um, what country are we living in? If conservative radio hosts are on the air it's because they have the ratings to be there. It's not their problem that there isn't a market for liberal radio shows. Why would there be when they can get all the liberal news and analysis they want on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, etc.
