It's Been A Nice Run

Looks like the Katie Couric experiment at CBS Evening News might be coming to an end. The rumors are that she's about to be let go.
I have no idea what made them think that Couric was popular enough to host the news? Her liberal bias was so obvious on the "Today" show that she wasn't going to attract any conservative news viewers. And did women like her that much? She always seems so arrogant and full of herself that I can't imagine she really appealed to middle-class women.
They'll probably throw her on the CBS Morning Show now since they are paying her so much money.
