The Chicago Bears have a major problem on their hands with LB Lance Briggs. He's now saying that he will sit the 2007 season unless the Bears trade him, he said he's done playing for Chicago. This is all because he's pissed they assigned him the franchise tag, basically meaning he's signed to a one year deal with the Bears.
But it seems that Briggs is just another egotistical millionaire - the reason he wants out is because he wants to be "the man" somewhere and he can't do that in Chicago because of Brian Urlacher. So instead of staying with a team that has a shot at winning the Super Bowl, he'll go play for some crappy team just so that he can be the main player.
Let this jerk go, you don't need this headache when you are this close to winning the Bowl. If you can't handle making $7 million next year and playing for a contending team then take your attitude to some crappy team and enjoy your money.
