Crime Time

Andover

Harassment - An Andover resident reported that an ex-friend has been calling him 10 to 15 times a day to ask if he wants to go out drinking. He told the ex-friend to stop calling, but he continued, so the resident wanted deputies to speak to him. (This might be one of the best crime reports ever!)

Burglary - A resident found an unknown man digging in his refrigerator about 3 a.m. The resident asked him to leave, and he did. He said the man was about 18 years old and appeared to be very intoxicated. (Someone had the munchies!)

Maplewood

Theft - A 2005 Dodge Dakota was stolen from City & County Credit Union, after it had been repossessed. The former owner was considered a suspect, according to a police report. (Smart move buddy, go steal your car back!)

Burglary - A basement window was broken and two glass piggy banks, a plastic Coke bottle half full of pennies, and a 12-pack of beer were stolen. (Need that beer!)

Mounds View

Disturbance - A caller reported that a resident was causing a disturbance during a tenants' meeting. (The meeting was probably about him!)

St. Anthony

Theft - Somebody broke into a vehicle and stole a breast pump and a textbook. (Ummmm???)

Assault - A 15-year old student at St. Anthony High School was cited after he punched a teacher who woke him up in a classroom. (How dare you wake me up in the middle of class! Is the teacher allowed to punch this kid back?)
