Our great country is in a significant debate right now. This debate is legitimate, and is being waged on several fronts. The summation of the debate, in my opinion, is Do you want to give in to those who want to dominate us, and 'try to understand them'. Or do you want to fight for what has made this country great for more than 200 years? Here is an excellent article on what is happening in Iraq right now. My interpretation, is that patience, and intestinal fortitude is starting to prevail on our side. Iraqi's don't want non-Iraqi's controlling their country, which includes the U.S. However, I think they are starting to realize that they have a better chance of regaining control by eliminating Al Qaida, and other extreme factions, than by trying to eliminate the U.S. forces. Harry Reid, who is a pathetic coward, thinks we have already lost.
Let's try to band together to finish something like hasn't been done since WWII. The Cold War was won by keeping it under the radar and not starting a fight. That's not possible in this one. The Islamic radicals want to kill everyone else. THAT INCLUDES you Liberal nut jobs out there. In fact, you are the ones that would be targeted first. GET A CLUE! You can't rationalize with these nuts, kill or be killed, what do you want?
Harry Reid thinks we have lost because he thinks that will help the Dems in 2008. After that he will then support the war again (if they win), especially because the U.S. will be attacked once a Democrat takes over.
