It's Okay, He's a Celeb

As you've probably heard by now, actor Alec Baldwin left a screaming message with his daughter last week where he called her a "pig" along with other nice things.
Here's an article where the author is defending Baldwin because "it's tough to be a parent." I wonder if she would be defending him if he didn't appear on her favorite TV show "30 Rock?" Or if he wasn't famous.
Say he was just a guy that lived down the street. Would she still defend him or would she want him investigated for child abuse???
Why defend the guy? It's always been rumored he's a jerk and this seems to prove it.
