Whenever I see a note about a celebrity that may be a Republican I like to point it out. Mainly because there aren't many of them and those that are have to be quiet about it or they won't get a job.
I don't know if actor Jon Voight is a Republican for sure, but this quote would make you think he leans that way:
"Voight says he's troubled by attacks on President Bush's war on terrorism: "The enemy would really like for us to divide and fight against each other and do their pernicious work for them."
Good for Voight, this is exactly what the terrorists want. Bin Laden even said this himself after the Black Hawk Down incident in Somalia. He basically said that Americans don't have the stomach for war when troops start dying and that eventually they would retreat.
Hmmmm, sounds a lot like the Democrats plan doesn't it! Retreat and then when they hit us again launch a couple cruise missles at a factory. Then sit back and wait for it to happen again. Maybe urge the U.N. to pass a couple resolutions or put some trade sanctions in. Maybe stop buying oil from the country for a couple months. Then when it happens again hold a peace conference where nothing is accomplished.
This is what we can expect if a Democrat takes over the White House in 2008.
Back to Voight - I wonder what his daughter Angelina Jolie and her boyfriend Brad Pitt think of this seeing they are huge liberals.
