President Clinton is Nearing

Not good news Republicans! A new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows Hillary Clinton leading Rudy Giuliani 51% to 43% in a hypothetical matchup. Granted it's early and these aren't even the nominated candidates (but they will be), but it's not a good sign that Hillary is over 50%.

Republicans need to get behind Rudy and they need to do it quickly. Sorry Romney and Thompson supporters, but those guys don't have a shot at beating Hillary. I think there is a possibility that John McCain could rebound and offer a challenge (remember that John Kerry was only getting about 12% support until Democrats realized he was their best shot at beating W.), but Rudy probably has the best shot because he can get more moderate votes.

The problem for Rudy? Far-right conservatives and religious conservatives are stating that they might not support him because they don't agree with his liberal social views and instead might support a third party candidate. Well guess what, Hillary's views on EVERYTHING are much more liberal than Rudy. If you're fine with handing Hillary the presidency, then fine, go ahead and support a third party candidate who has not shot at winning. But if you don't want this country to go to hell, then you better get behind Rudy so that Hillary doesn't win.

The media, Hollywood, CNN, etc. are going to push Hillary as far as they can. They will not rip her and if people fall for this polished image they are going to push, she will win. Republicans need to unite behind one candidate and support him, or else we're doomed.

By the way, funny how the media, liberals and Hollywood don't seem to have a problem with the Democrats controlling both parts of Congress and the presidency. Remember how they went nuts when Republicans controlled all three branches? "This is horrible, no party should control all three branches." Funny, but it doesn't sound like they have a problem with this possibility now.

$9,000,000,000,000 in debt. Over 3,800 Americans six feet under. . . .As anonymous (Fay?) said, what is "going to hell"?. Can it be worse? I hope not.

  3. Ha! I highly doubt if Fay is supporting Hillary.

Yes it can be worse - universal healthcare, more welfare and benefits for lazy people that sit home and don't do anything except have more kids, allowing terrorists to roam the world at will, dropping protections added since 9/11, not allowing interrogations because it might hurt terrorists, more power for unions to protect teachers who don't do crap, higher taxes, open borders, free college tuition for illegal immigrants, more smut from Hollwood and the music industry, the equal time law requiring radio and TV to always present both sides of the issue (in other words, get lost FOX News and Rush), Bill Clinton back in the White House hanging around interns. That's just the start.

Sorry, but Democrats will always think that Republicans are evil and Republicans will always think the opposite. I will never vote for a Democrat, praise a Democrat, support a Democrat or agree with a Democrat on any issue. Why? Because I don't agree with them on anything!

  4. Oh, I forgot Hillary's proposal for a $5,000 bond for every child born in America.
Um, where is that money coming from? And is it really a good idea to encourage people who can't handle the kids they already had to create a few more just so they can get the money and the rest of us can support them?
